Opera Gallery Geneva is proud to announce, ‘30 Years – 30 Artists’, a milestone exhibition celebrating the gallery's 30th anniversary.

 

Opera Gallery was founded in 1994 by Gilles Dyan with two exhibition spaces that opened almost simultaneously in Singapore and in Paris. Dyan's concept aimed to create a dynamic fusion within the gallery, where both emerging and established artists could coexist harmoniously. With an inclusive approach, the gallery swiftly adopted an open-door policy, welcoming international talents across a wide range of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, installation, and new media.

 

To mark this significant anniversary, the ‘30 Years – 30 Artists’ exhibition will showcase a curated selection of works from 30 internationally celebrated modern, post-war, and contemporary artists. Highlights include masterpieces by legendary figures such as Marc ChagallPablo PicassoJean DubuffetPierre SoulagesFernand LégerAndy WarholRoy Lichtenstein, Yayoi Kusama and Fernando Botero. These icons of modern and post-war art will be displayed alongside significant works by contemporary artists like Andy DenzlerJean Charles Blais, and Juan Genovés, representing Opera Gallery’s commitment to promoting both established and emerging talents.

 

The exhibition serves as a tribute to Opera Gallery’s remarkable 30-year journey, showcasing the diverse and innovative artists who have played a pivotal role in the gallery’s success. Through this dynamic collection, visitors will have the opportunity to witness how Opera Gallery has helped shape the contemporary art world while remaining true to its mission of fostering creativity and artistic expression on a global scale.

 

This anniversary exhibition offers not only a celebration of Opera Gallery’s past but also a reflection on its future. By featuring both historical and contemporary artists, ‘30 Years – 30 Artists’ presents a dialogue between the past and present, emphasising Opera Gallery’s ongoing role as a platform for timeless artistic creativity.
